Each year at Resolve Technology we speak with over 100 prospects in New Hampshire about their information technology (IT). They often ask us who are some of the other IT companies and competitors we have in the area.

1. Mainstay Technologies
Located in Belmont, NH with an office in Manchester, NH these folks are solid Managed Service Providers (MSP). They have a good size team of generalists and specialists.
They’ve created a solid security practice and we’ve worked with them on CMMC and NIST compliance.
2. Cybertron
Cybertron is also located in the Belmont area. Although a smaller IT provider than Mainstay, they’ve created a niche in the Lakes area through the years. Recently we transitioned one of their clients to our firm and they were very professional in their “hand off”. This by the way is atypical.
3. Neoscope
*update: 3-27-22, learned recently they got bought out
Having performed subcontracting work for Neoscope years ago we are familiar with their operations. They are IT generalists but also have vCISO and other security offerings.
Neoscope provides managed IT and projects throughout New Hampshire and surrounding states. They are good folks that have been around IT for many years.
4. Nerds to Go
Tricia’s company is not that old; however, we’ve already referred multiple people to her shop. They offer traditional walk in service for small businesses and home users. This combination is hard to find these days. I expect they will be around for years to come.
5. Dover Computer Repair
DCR has been around for like ten years. Jim is one of the owners and I knew him as an electrician. They are one of the few remaining independent shops on the Seacoast of New Hampshire.
They do traditional break/fix work for home users and small businesses. Also, they do onsite work. You can expect above average work from them.
6. Security7
Security7 is a solid MSSP (that’s a mouthful). A Managed Security Service Provider is an IT company that focuses on cybersecurity. We currently work with them on a mutual client where they provide Fortigate firewall SIEM services and we provide server support.
Jay is extremely easy to work with on the sales side. They have top notch (NH based) network and security engineers.
